2- Characteristics of the grape and godello strains:

Bunches:

Small in size. With fairly homogeneous berry size, medium to high compactness, with a medium-sized peduncle and little lignification at its base.

Berries:

Small in size with circular section and elliptical profile, with thick, yellowish green skin and lots of bloom.

With hard pulp, without pigmentation, very vascular and juicy. Without particular flavors, with an intense peculiar and persistent aroma.

Strains:

High vigor and erect bearing with early flowering and ripening.

3- Viticultural characteristics of the godello grape

-High fertility and good sprouting.

– Little sensitive to botrytis.

-Sensitive to powdery mildew.

-Low sensitivity to mildew.

-Sensitive to excoriation and various vascular fungi.

4- Oenological potential of godello wines

It produces musts with high acidity and very aromatic.

Capable of producing highly alcoholic, balanced varietal wines with excellent aromaticity.
